Zip files don’t unzip Mac OSX

Problem When unzipping a file in OS X rather than unzipping the files it creates a new file with extensions like filename .zip.cpgz . Cause This is a wonderful quirk of zips and compressions. This can be caused by a corrupted file from the download site or an incomplete download, or simply an unrecognized type of compression. Solution Right click the zip file and select ‘open with’ there should be one or two options available ‘ stuffit expander ‘ and ‘ archive utility ‘ try both of these. If you’re still out of luck continue… Download a different zip program,   www.kekaosx.com . Install and try from step 1 again. If that still doesn’t work then try the terminal solution.

How to Boot straight to desktop in windows 8/8.1

Issue:"Boot straight to desktop in windows 8/8.1" Method 1 : The Metro interface in Windows 8.1 makes sense on a touch-enabled device, but on a traditional computer, it's only an afterthought. These Java or ActiveX controls need to be updated regularly, but are not done by most users, as a result of which malware has crept on to many a Windows machines, infecting them. Malicious or compromised Web sites target security flaws in outdated ActiveX Controls and install malware. In fact, Java exploits represented 84.6% to 98.5% of exploit kit-related detections each month in 2013. Keeping this scenario in mind, Microsoft has taken a good step in deciding to block old and out-dated ActiveX Controls in Internet Explorer 8-11 on Windows 7 / 8 machines. Out-of-date AciveX controls on all Security Zones—such as the Internet Zone will be blocked, and you will see the following message: Java(TM) w
