Outlook 2013 / 2010 does not honor default account while send emails.

Problem:

Outlook 2013 / 2010 does not honor default account while send emails.

Solution:

When you have multiple accounts and an IMAP account in Outlook 2010/2013 and you change the default sending account to the IMAP account, you may experience the following issues:
When you click a mailto link from a browser or from Outlook, the default sending account is the Exchange Server account instead of the IMAP account.
When you create a new email message, the Exchange Server account is selected instead of the IMAP account.

Out of the box, Outlook 2010 SP1 and Outlook 2013 use the default account for Send to commands but not for new messages created while viewing a pst file (when a POP account is assigned to the pst file), unless you set a registry value to always force the use of the default account.

To force all new messages to use the default email account, regardless of which pst file you are viewing, browse to the following registry subkey.

Problem:

How To Repair Damaged .PST And .OST File In Outlook.??

Cause:

Abnormal closing of outlook window leads to the damage of PST file, for example closing of outlook while processing or saving data to PST file. Also ‘End Task’ or ‘End Process’ in Windows task manager cause .PST file error.
Larger file size in PST drives damaging of PST. Even though Microsoft Outlook 2007 & 2010 allows larger PST file sizes (20GB – 50GB), but it is better to keep .PST file size under control (2GB-10GB).
Other main cause could be due to serious Virus corruptions that may make the PST file inaccessible to Outlook.
Operating System re-installation, Outlook Upgrading and Windows Upgrading are other tendency to cause corruption or unavailability of a PST file

Step 1:
 Close outlook.exe

Office 2013 installation hangs at "10% - Configuring..." when installing from a network share.

Problem:
Office 2013 installation hangs at "10% - Configuring..." when installing from a network share.

Solution:

The installation of the Office 2013 Click-to-Run version may appear to hang at "10% - Configuring..." when installing from a network share.
The Click-to-Run installation uses a service to manage the virtual file system during the intial portion of the setup process (up to 10% in the installation user interface progress screen), and the remainder of the process involves tasks required to integrate with Windows and cache the files onto the local hard drive. At 10%, because Windows Installer hands off additional task to the service, the System account (interactive Session 0) manages the remaining processes to install Office. This means that the System account needs access to the share or location where Office installation files are contained.

You will need to add the "Domain Computers" group to the network share to successfully install. To do so:
